California will be adopting the 2013 California Building Codes on July 1, 2013 and they will become mandatory on January 1, 2014. Keep this in mind as you look to when you will submit your project.

For those of you working with the Truckee Building Department you may not know that the chief building official, Mike Lavallee, P.E., will be retiring toward the end of June. The Town is currently looking for a new chief building official to be in place when Mike leaves.
